Keep the gallery astronomical

Published images must be astrophotography or directly related astronomical imaging: celestial targets, solar-system subjects, night-sky phenomena, or clearly documented scientific astronomical captures. Ordinary photography, unrelated artwork, advertising, memes, and spam do not belong in the gallery.

Respect creators

Critique the image and method without attacking the creator. Do not harass, discriminate, impersonate, threaten, or expose another person's private information or acquisition location.

Protect fair competition

Do not manipulate votes, coordinate blind judging, seek entrant identities during review, pressure judges, or use multiple accounts to influence platform or competition outcomes.

Disclose material context

Disclose collaborations, public or purchased data, hosted observatories, sponsorships, affiliate relationships, and material generative processing when those facts are relevant to publication or competition eligibility.

Do not present a synthetic or generated scene as captured astrophotography. Materially generated, replaced, or fabricated image content must be disclosed and may be ineligible for gallery publication or competition even when disclosed. Normal calibration, stacking, color processing, noise reduction, and documented astronomical workflows are not violations by themselves.

Respect ownership and privacy

Upload only work you have the right to share. Respect copyright and obtain consent before publishing another person's work, identity, personal information, or exact imaging-site coordinates.

Reporting and enforcement

AstroLeague may restrict content or accounts to protect members and competition integrity. Reports are reviewed according to the published rules, available evidence, and the safety of affected members.

Report in good faith when an image appears unrelated to astrophotography, fabricated or misleading, stolen, unsafe, abusive, spam, or supported by false competition or acquisition metadata. Do not report work solely because you dislike its style, processing, equipment, or score. Reports are private to the reporter and authorized moderators.
